Against popular opinion, the bible is NOT A BOOK solely for CHRISTIANS as you erroneously suppose! Neither is it a religious book as some would have us call it! It’s never so please! It’s more than that! And, I will tell you why!
Basically, you got to understand that the Bible is a catalogue of God’s Agenda that is being rolled out upon this earth, even today…till a new heaven and a new earth replaces this current heaven and earth alas! Yes! That’s God’s Agenda! (it has nothing to do with a religion called Christianity in it’s originality).
Moreso, this Agenda at it’s final stage shall not admit men who are subject to death… considering that all of it’s functionalities and promises are eternal, made for the enjoyment of men who shall live on forever… And though Christ Jesus appeared as a man, he was exempted from the pains of death, and was raised back to life by the glory of the Father, into a new body… A terrestrial-celestial body… WHICH IS THE HOPE OF CONFORMITY FOR ALL WHO BELIEVE, the resurrection! It’s a prerequisite to dwell eternally with the Father through our identification with the MAN CHRIST JESUS! For He is the template of what and who we shall be in hope! Glory to God! (THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO With a religion called CHRISTIANITY, but it has a lot to do with God’s Agenda for all humanity which you’re supposed to be a part of). How familiar are you with this?
“Therefore He also says in another [Psalm:] [‘ You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption.’] “For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption; but He whom God raised up saw no corruption” – Acts13:35-37
This Jesus who ascended to Heaven to occupy an exalted status with God the Father… shall soon return to rule the whole world as KING OVER THE EARTH(Zec14:9), and He shall indeed rule with ALL THOSE who have believed God’s report or testimony about Him! Your believe of God’s testimony about Jesus is the only prerequisite you need today! (THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH A RELIGION CALLED Christianity, THIS IS ABOUT GOD’S ETERNAL AGENDA BEFORE CREATION)…
“And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life” – 1Jn5:11-12
Isn’t this simple enough? Shouldn’t you believe God’s testimony about Christ Jesus today, and be citizened for Jesus’ Kingdom which shall be made evident for all to see in this world at His Second coming? Sadly, some would prefer not to be a part of this glorious Agenda of God, which entrance is ONLY by the man Christ Jesus, whom God raised and has exalted to be Lord over all the earth!
All who have faith in God’s Agenda, believing that He has made this Jesus, both Lord and Christ, SHALL BE MADE CHRIST AT JESUS’ SECOND COMING!
“Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” Now when they heard [this,] they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men [and] brethren, what shall we do?” Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, AND TO ALL WHO ARE AFAR OFF, as many as the Lord our God will call” – Acts2:36-49
“For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living” – Rm14:9
I commend you to the bible,
And to God’s Agenda therein,
And I commend you to participation in God’s Agenda through faith in Christ Jesus! And I commend you to Jesus’s Kingdom which shall soon be seen upon this earth, with Jesus Himself personally running the helm of affairs of the world during the 1000 years Millennial reign, then afterwards the jugdement unto damnation for those who did not believe God’s testimony about Him!
Perhaps, you might be saying to yourself: I believe in God and God shall be the judge, not Jesus! Yeah, you’re right, but that’s a partial truth, seeing that the God of the heavens and earth, creator of the universe shall NOT be the one to judge both the living and the dead! He has thus committed all judgement to Jesus whom He has exalted and testified about…
“For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth [them]; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all [men] should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him” -Jn5:21-23
If you have believed God’s testimony, that He created the heavens and the earth, and that He called Abraham His friend, and that He was the One who sent all the Prophets who testified of Christ Jesus…why doubt God’s testimony about this same Jesus, being the very word of testimony?
“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation” – Jn5:28-29
If even the dead shall be raised for Jesus’ judgement in that day, how are you planning to escape then? If I were you I would choose resurrection to life, rather than resurrection to damnation! And this is the hour of your salvation, if you shall heartily embrace God’s Agenda pivoted in Christ Jesus! Please do!
